Completed an intensive 4‑week, cohort-based masterclass focused on adopting an AI‑driven product design workflow. Built a reusable prompt system, learned prompt mechanics and patterns, and used AI to accelerate user research by extracting faster signals, synthesizing insights, and turning raw data into clear problem definitions. Applied AI for ideation and prioritization to quickly generate and evaluate solution concepts, then translated them into high‑fidelity AI‑assisted Figma prototypes, including flows, interactions, and AI‑informed usability testing workflows. This bootcamp sharpened my ability to design 10x faster while maintaining rigor in research, interaction design, and validation—directly strengthening how I lead UX work from first prompt to tested prototype in modern AI‑enabled product teams.

Sep 2024–Nov 2024

Memorisely · Design Systems Bootcamp

Completed an intensive 8-week, cohort-based program focused on planning, building, and scaling product design systems for complex digital products. Deepened my skills in auditing existing UI patterns, defining tokens and foundations (color, type, spacing, grid), and translating them into robust, reusable Figma components and libraries that are easy for engineers to implement. The bootcamp emphasized system governance, documentation, and contribution workflows, so designers and developers can ship consistently without sacrificing speed. This training sharpened my ability to turn messy UI into a cohesive, scalable design system—directly strengthening how I lead multi‑product design consistency, improve handoff, and reduce design and build time in modern product teams.

Sep 2020–Nov 2020

Memorisely · UX Design Bootcamp

Completed an 8‑week, cohort-based UX design bootcamp covering core principles, methods, and best practices expected of a modern UX program. The curriculum spanned user research, information architecture, interaction design, wireframing, prototyping, and usability testing, all grounded in real product scenarios.

Memorisely · UX Design Bootcamp

Completed an 8‑week, cohort-based UX design bootcamp covering core principles, methods, and best practices expected of a modern UX program. The curriculum spanned user research, information architecture, interaction design, wireframing, prototyping, and usability testing, all grounded in real product scenarios. Prior to this bootcamp, I had been practicing UX design at Ancestry with largely self-taught methods; I enrolled to formalize and deepen my skills, validate my approach against industry standards, and adopt additional best practices I could bring back into complex internal tools and workflows.

2011–2015

University of Utah · Bachelor of Arts, Mass Communication

Earned a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication from the University of Utah, completing coursework in communication theory, digital media strategy, interpersonal and organizational communication, research methods, and user behavior analysis. Studied how people interact with technology platforms and how interface design shapes communication patterns—foundational knowledge that directly informs my approach to UX design and product management. Explored topics including information architecture, persuasive communication, audience research methodologies, and the social impacts of emerging technologies. This interdisciplinary education equipped me with a deep understanding of how users communicate across digital platforms—from social media and enterprise collaboration tools to project management systems—enabling me to design intuitive products that facilitate seamless human interaction and meet real user needs.

Volunteer Experience

Jan 2024–Present

Capitol Reef Farmers’ Market · Member, Board of Directors

Capitol Reef Farmers' Market is a seasonal, open-air market held on Saturday afternoons from late May through mid-October in Torrey, Utah. We bring together fresh, locally grown produce, baked goods, meats, handcrafted items, and live music for both local residents and the many visitors exploring nearby Capitol Reef National Park.

As one of three board volunteers, I help keep the market running smoothly: I built and maintain our Webflow website, manage vendor outreach and onboarding, coordinate weekly communications through Google Workspace, and handle day-to-day logistics to ensure every vendor booth is ready and every shopper has a welcoming, community-centered experience throughout the season.

Color Country Animal Welfare · Member, Board of Directors

Color Country Animal Welfare (CCAW) is a nonprofit organization based in Torrey, Utah, dedicated to reducing the number of stray cats and dogs in Wayne County while championing the welfare of all animals. Through rescue, adoption, spay/neuter services, and trap-neuter-return programs, CCAW works to create a safer, more compassionate community for animals.

As a board member, I contributed to strategic initiatives, helped modernize organizational workflows using Google Workspace, and maintained the WordPress website to ensure smooth operations and effective community engagement.

Sep 2020–Nov 2020

Safe Harbor Crisis Center · Member, Board of Directors

Safe Harbor Crisis Center is the first and only domestic violence and sexual assault services agency in Davis County, Utah. They operate a 24/7 crisis line, an emergency protective shelter, transitional housing, legal advocacy, children's programs, and community education—all offered free and confidential to survivors.

As a board member, I helped lead special projects and introduced tools like Notion for task tracking and Google Workspace for shared documentation. These improvements streamlined both governance and day-to-day operations, allowing the team to dedicate more time and energy to supporting clients.
